Much to celebrate tonight. A night (almost) off from school, my presentation submitted (barely) in time last night, and an amazing bottle of Malbec and a steak with mine and Rugby Fellow’s names on them.
John’s flow class last night was a good reminder of breathing properly. Rather than suggesting an intention, he guided us through the first sun salutations talking with us about our prana, our breath. And he reflected for us on how posture affects our breath, and how our breath affects our stress. Just breathe, right?
Tonight, I’m going to take a breather. And then tomorrow night is another night in the newest form of public humiliation that I signed myself up for — co-ed softball league with colleagues. And I am not nearly as bad as I expected myself to be, but I’m not good, either. Ha!
