“Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!” ~Bob Marley
A lot of people believe this song to be about getting over a woman. I read somewhere that this is a love song dedicated to his wife. It’s a song of nostalgia and soothing. Long ago, I found some comfort listening to many of Bob Marley’s songs following a hard heartbreak. Beginning with sitting on the white Jamaican sand and baking in the sun, crying much I didn’t know if the salt on my face was from my tears or from the turquoise waters, I can still count on many of his songs to be my lullabies.
